Training & Placement Cell has been established at the State Government level
in the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Bihar, with the
objective of creating employment opportunities for students graduating from
Engineering Colleges and Polytechnic Institutions across the State.
The Cell assists students in selecting rewarding career paths while preparing
them to meet the changing requirements of industries through skill development,
training programmes and industry interaction.
It actively develops partnerships with leading organizations and corporate
employers to facilitate campus recruitment opportunities and improve student
employability.
The Cell also provides career guidance, counselling, communication skill
enhancement, resume writing support, internship information and placement
assistance. Career resources, job notifications and internship opportunities
are made available through the portal.
Future initiatives include publishing a comprehensive Resume Book for
recruiters and developing career planning resources covering interview
preparation, job market trends and professional development.
