To control price, black marketing and hoarding of essential commodities.

To control adulteration of Petrol and Diesel.

To ensure proper distribution of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG).

To provide minimum support price of grains to the farmers through procurement.

Vision

The VISION of Food and Consumer Protection Department of Bihar encourages the citizens to make informed decisions about their daily needs and things, be equitable and get consistent outcomes.
