The 63rd Annual Foundation Day of Civil Defence was celebrated on December 6, 2025, at the Civil Defence Training Institute, Anandpur, Bihta, Patna. The message from His Excellency the President, the Honourable Prime Minister, and the Honourable Home Minister of the Government of India was read by the Director General-cum-Commissioner, Civil Defence, Dr. Paresh Saxena, while the message from the Home Secretary, Government of India, and the Director General, Fire Services, Civil Defence and Home Guards, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, was read by the Superintendent of Police-cum-Assistant Director, Civil Defence, Himanshu Shankar Trivedi. Civil Defence volunteers, teachers and students from DAV School, Bihta, and teachers and students from the government school in Anandpur also participated in the event. A mock drill was performed by the Civil Defence volunteers, and school students were given information on disaster preparedness. A quiz was conducted for the students based on the information provided, and the winning students were awarded cash prizes by the Director General.
