Building Construction Department is proud to share that the landmark project Samrat Ashoka Convention Kendra, a dream project of Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar, received the prestigious 10th CIDC Vishwakarma Award for the Best Construction Project.
The Convention Kendra represents the ancient heritage and glory of Bihar. It includes a 5,000-seat tiered auditorium, one of the largest in Eastern India, along with exhibition halls, mini auditoriums, conference facilities and food courts.
The department also dedicated the iconic Sabhyata Dwar to the people of Bihar, symbolizing the glorious history of Pataliputra and ancient civilization.
